This male Purple Finch gave me a nice pose in good light. A few Purple Finches were around for about 10 days and I kept after them until I finally got the shot I wanted. With no Redpolls or Siskins around this winter, the male Purple Finch became my target bird.
It was a bummer not to see any Siskins or Redpolls around. Glad you persisted in getting a great shot of the Purple Finch. So nice and sharp (as always).
