Eastern Kingbird

Eastern Kingbird

Viewed 19 Times

The most common Kingbird in the mid-west, this guy was hunting and catching bugs. Each time he caught a bug, he would perch closer and closer to the trail I was on. I didn’t want to push my luck and finally took my shot.

I love the red stalk the Kingbird is perched on. You caught him with its beak open – singing or yawning? GreatBirdPic!
