I went to Fort Madison, Iowa to take pictures of trains crossing the Mississippi River bridge. I found a nice spot to sit in my chair wait under a huge shady Cottonwood tree. While I was sitting a waiting, I heard some tapping from above. I finally spotted the culprit, this female Downy Woodpecker.
