I’ve been looking for a Long-billed Curlew ever since I moved to the Coastal Bend of Texas in late February, and today I decided to try a place I hadn’t been to before and within minutes of getting out of the car, I saw one. Later, on the way back to the car I looked at the same spot and there were 20!

Got an itch to scratch.
