Henslow's Sparrow

Try Try Again for this Lifer

Viewed 22 Times

After seeing the fabulous shots here of this bird I heard last week in the grasslands, I had to try again to see if it would show itself. This time I waited almost an hour after relocating it by sound, and eventually it did pop up to a low branch and start singing. I’m calling it a lifer because it’s the first time I’ve ever actually seen one.

Congrats Lin. Nice shot. I’m glad he finally popped up for you.
