The Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl is only found in the US in extreme southern TX, with a good population of at least 300 breeding pairs on King Ranch’s Norias Division. The took their full-day birding tour with this being one of the target species for everyone on the tour and our guide didn’t disappoint.
