Northern Mockingbirds are rare in our area, (DuPage Co.) This is one of two that we hope are nesting in our area. He/she was sitting nicely on this bush when all of a sudden it perked up. Turns out, a squirrel was roaming around and quickly scurried off when the Mockingbird chased it away.
