Paradise Tanager

Berries for breakfast

Viewed 17 Times

This bird, a Paradise Tanager, is usually a canopy bird; hence difficult to get good photographs of. But when this bush ( I do not know its name, but it is common in South America) fruits, the birds come down. This shot was taken out my bedroom window at Cock of the Rock Lodge in the Manu National Park of Peru.

What an interesting Tanager! Glad you were able to get a shot of it eating the berries.
