Atlantic Puffin

This Atlantic Puffin has a mouthful of sand lance ready for their little Puffling. They can hold more than ten fish at once and both parents are active in feeding and raising the Puffling. I spent a day on Machais Seal Island in Maine and had a wonderful experience watching the behavior of these birds.
