We took a walk at Stu Visser Trails just before lunch and passed by this Green Heron patiently waiting on a log for lunch to pass by. We had turned around at the end of the short trail and heard a splash and just caught site of the heron downing his lunch.
I like the shot through the branches. I always find it amazing that they can swallow such large fish.
