Atlantic Puffin

The paint is still wet.

This bird just landed after an ocean swim and its feathers were still wet. The image almost looks like an oil painting that has wet paint. This was one of my favorite profile shots from my recent trip to Maine. There is nice detail in the bird and the green background sets it off nicely.
