I snapped this photo earlier this year in May. This was the first time I ever saw a Great Egret in the wild.

Your Great Egret shot is very good! Sometimes a white bird in front of a dark background will cause an image to be blown out (bright white with no detail). Well done!
Thanks Mike! I definitely had this in mind when I was capturing the photo. I use the Canon R10 and seeing the histogram in the viewfinder is really helpful in tricky situations like this.
