Arctic Visitors (Montrose Point) ~ 2 of 2

My second arctic visitor is the stunning Snowy Owl. This bird was in the protected dune area and didn’t move in time I observed it. This shot reminds me of its tundra home up north. Because it was a Sunday, many birders and beach walkers got to see it and were thrilled by the experience.
