Plover at Montrose

We happened to be in town on an unrelated task and decided to stop by Montrose to see what was around. It proved to be a wonderful day with at least 19 of these Semipalmated plovers scampering across the beach working the edges of the remaining fluddle.

A pleasant surprise.
