American Goldfinch

Partaking of yummy Agastache seeds

Viewed 10 Times

Our yard has many native plants. One of the favorites is the Agastache. In late summer hummingbirds get nectar from the flower that is so small it sometimes sticks to their beak. Warblers also get insects from the plant during fall migration. In the fall it is full of seeds and the goldfinch eat for a few weeks from the seeds.

Sounds like the Agastache plant is a bird-favorite! Glad you “stock” your yard with native plants.
