Short-eared Owl

Short-eared Owl hunting.

This bird gave me a nice close flyby as it began hunting the large meadow. I’ve gone three times and had decent shots every visit. Truly an exceptional spot to shoot this species. Plus they come out early when the light is still acceptable.

I like the framing of the Short-eared Owl. Really gives a feeling of the flight of the bird.
