Thanks for your pictures of the hawk in your backyard! You were very lucky to have one there for so long! The hawk pictured is a Red-shouldered Hawk. The tail is striped, not reddish and the breast is dappled all the way down, whereas Red-tailed Hawks have more of a belly band of dots. I have changed this in all of your pics.
