Great Blue Heron
I was watching this Heron feed in a pond when he took off and flew high into a group of huge old dead trees. I positioned him in my viewfinder and shot this virtually full frame. I love the composition and the fact that the bird almost blends in as another branch of the tree. I’d like to hear feedback on this photo. Thanks.

Nice full view shot… Unlike your usual shots, but I like it.
Interesting photo. The sky and branches are pretty, which is more the focal point than the bird in this picture. Personally, I might like it cropped a little more.
Really enjoy pictures with a wide scope of scenery. for me not being a birding expert, it provides greater context.
