Red Crossbill Feasting in the Larches

One of a flock of about 20 birds feeding in a stand of Larches on the west end of Lake Marmo in the Morton Arboretum. It took me about ten trips to the area before I was able to locate the birds which have been seen by many folks over the past 2 months. It was worth the effort!
