Puffins in flight are know as flying bullets. 55 MPH is not an exaggeration. Now add a rocking boat in the open ocean and you can see the challenge that is presented. This shot shows under wing and top wing as well as sharp focus with a good head angle.

Nice low angle. Kept the underwings bright enough to appreciate the patterns and colors. One of my “dream birds” that I would love to shoot.
