Were the Mallards having a spat? Nice capture – unusual to see them perched on a log/tree.
I didn’t notice any hostile behavior. When I got there, the male was also standing and his orange feet really stood out. After a while, he sat down. I also found it unusual to see them on a log and not in the water. They are in a little cove area. There are some Cyprus trees to the right of them.
