Carolina Wren

State Bird

Viewed 17 Times

Makes sense that the Carolina Wren is the state bird for South Carolina. This wren, along with another, were near the ground of a bush in what appeared to be gathering nesting material. I stopped to try and get a photo, but there were too many sticks in the way. This Carolina Wren helped me out by jumping up on a branch with no obstruction and even better, the sky was a beautiful blue.

Great shot of the Carolina Wren! It’s tough to get a good pic of these birds because they move around so much, but you got a great pic (GreatBirdPic as a matter of fact).
