This was one of many photos I took by Montrose’s bank swallow colony. I really liked the front-facing view of the swallow in mid-flight. I’m always happy when I get an image of a bird flying directly towards me as it is the most technically challenging view to capture with current camera technology.

Only a bird photographer can appreciate the difficulty in obtaining a great shot of a swallow in flight! You got great detail and an interesting angle on the Bank Sw.
