A male barn swallow swoops towards its nest, lit by the morning sun. This is another image I was only able to capture through careful observation of the flight patterns of the swallows. I noticed that every few minutes this swallow would return to his nest in order to feed its offspring and that while doing so, it always took the same flight path. With some patience, i was able to get this image of the swallow with its wings and tail outstretched.

Your patience paid off! The shot of the Barn Swallow is very dramatic – showing every detail with the golden colors of the sunrise shining on it.
