Flying over the meadow

Viewed 5 Times

Helder Park is a meadow on the western edge of its park. This area is a nesting area for Bobolinks and Eastern Meadowlarks. In early July usually the young are close to or have fledged so the birds are flying around. I was able to finally get a female/juvenile in flight.

Nice consecutive shots of the male and female Bobolinks. Good for comparison.
