Looking for grasshoppers

A Swallow-tailed Kite was being seen near Lansing so off we went. This bird put on quite a show including grabbing grasshoppers and eating them in flight. This photo has it flying over us. The interesting thing about the location of this bird was a freeway was on the opposite side of the field. People could see this species driving down the freeway. The eBird location was: Williams Rd. and Avery Rd.
