As stated in comment with the Little Bee-eater, the Bee-eaters, Rollers and Kingfishers are closely related beauties that are often in the open and hence easier to photograph. In Uganda I hope to see a Shining Blue Kingfisher. It would be Kingfisher species #34 – more numerous than the Bee-eaters and Rollers because they are found on every continent except for Antarctica.
