Stay out of the water

Sometimes the sign says it all. This bird, a Bare-throated Tiger Heron, knows to stay out of the water in this location. This shot was taken in Cano Negro, Costa Rica, from a boat. My friend, Chambita is a master at maneuvering the boat to get you the best angle.
