Greater Roadrunner
We just started walking down a trail at Big Bend NP and saw a couple of roadrunners. We carefully took out our long lenses and started photographing these cool birds. Only 3rd time seeing one in my life, and best photo opportunity. I believe its a “greater”? Colorful tail!

The Roadrunner at first glance has rather dull looking colors but when you look more carefully there is a rainbow of colors on the bird. Wonderful shot.
