I am asked occasionally if I take any video of the birds we see. The short answer is no. Sometimes I will take iPhone video of landscape, but not on my primary cameras. I think the primary reason is that I do not want to spend the time and effort it would take to learn how to properly process and edit the video. Maybe someday.
This leads into a question: “Can a single still image tell a story?”. I believe it can. It can give you a good idea of what is happening, but not why.
This is an image of two Pine Siskins, the female is lower left and the male is upper right. Not sure if they were a “pair” or just acquaintances. It is pretty obvious what is going to happen in a millisecond. She appears oblivious to it.
Taken in UP Michigan.
