My backyard was awfully quiet this afternoon, no birds at my feeders. I know a hawk was lurking around, and sure enough a Cooper’s Hawk was sitting in our big Evergreen Tree.

Wonderful spot, great shot!
Cooper’s Hawks sometimes swoop through our yard in Naples FL and occasionally are successful in nabbing a Mourning Dove or a European Collared-Dove – all we see in the end is a pile of feathers.
Those Cooper’s will clear out the birds fast! Good shot!
