Yellow-tufted Woodpecker

Paul Demkovich

We climbed a 40-meter high tower, and then held our breath as we traversed two 100-meter long rope-based, swaying, suspension bridges that were high above the tree canopy….. to arrive at the Sacha Lodge Metal Tower. This was more of an adventure than we had anticipated! But once there, OH MY, so many fabulous birds – including this wonderful Yellow-tufted Woodpecker!!
