Chilean Flamingo

We were amazed to see hundreds of Chilean Flamingos at the Lagunas Ornierlogical near Trelew, Argentina. All conceivable activities were taking place in this flock including group activities, feeding, disputes, courtship, mating and flying about. Absolutely a wonderful sight!

I have many great photos of this flock of birds, but I’m posting this one because it’s one of the best in-flight images.
