Our group was driving in a large van on a national park road on the Valdes Peninsula and seeing foxes, tinamou and rheas, but drivers were not allowed to stop along the road, so we could only briefly pause as we saw each of these. But then this Tawny-Throated Dotterel was spotted with everyone exclaiming – so the driver pulled over and paused for a couple of minutes. We were not allowed off the van, so I took this photo through the window.
