I’ve been post processing a group of photos from Costa Rica to post here at GBPs. A few days ago I saw the e-mail describing the process JamesD used to remove branches from his Northern Cardinal photo, which got me to thinking.
This White-Tailed Kite was perched high in a tree. I had the opportunity for one shot before it flew away. I thought the image of the bird itself was good, but the branches made the photo messy and detracted from the subject.
I was satisfied with my photo until I read about JamesD’s process and thought about the tools I have available. See the next post to some of the branches removed.
