We were recently at Eagle Lakes, a county park in Collier County, Florida. Much of the water there was dried up because of the months without rain and the increasing heat at this time of year. In spite of the concentrated ponds, there were not an overwhelming number of birds. But there were a few Black-Necked Stilts and I liked the reflection this one made on the still water.
