
Carolina Wren
We went birding at the Crew Bird Rookery Swamp Trail, which is about 15 mile east of Naples. The ponds were drying up, due to the lack of rain for months. The low water concentrated the fish, the alligators, the snakes and the birds.
We saw this Carolina Wren scurrying from bush to bush moving an apparent fecal sack from its nest.
