Heron Reappears

After the Corps of Engineers employees scared the heron away from its top rail perch, it reappeared downstream along the lock railing south of the lock gates. This time, it was not on the highest railing, so a portion of its body and legs is blocked from view. You can made out a portion of the dam in the background.
