The Asian green bee eater is also known as the little green bee eater or green bee eater, they are mainly insect eaters, they are found in grass lands far from water. It is richly colored and slender bird. The entire plumage is green with blue on the chin and throat. They have weak feet. The breeding season is from march to june. The clutch is of 3 to 5 eggs on bare ground near tunnel. Both sexes incubate for 14 days. Chicks fledge in 3 to 4 weeks.
