The changeable hawk eagle is large but slender eagle the adults are dark brown the juvenile is whitish with black spots. It is a very silent eagle but during breeding it will give a call. It is mainly seen in the Indian sub continent. The breeding season is mainly from November to may only one egg is laid, the egg tends to be glossy white but blotched with light red. Incubation period is 40 days.
