Just a follow up to the image I posted earlier of the American Bittern. As I mentioned in the first post, our tour guide, Jamie Cunningham, was quite good in predicting bird behavior. She predicted this bird would fly soon and, based on wind direction, gave us the likely path of the bird. Indeed, soon it did fly and I was able to track in across the marsh for about 25 frames with my R5 and 100-500 mm lens. SS 1/1600, ISO 2000, f/5.6.
