Clay-colored Sparrow

Uninspiring name and pose

Another species of sparrow, the Clay-colored Sparrow; a pretty generic, non-inspiring name. Although this is a handsome bird, IMO, he never would pose in a very photogenic spot. Sometimes you just have to take what you get. Shot in North Dakota.

Thanks. This truly was the best I could get of this species. He would sit up but always in really ugly settings.
