Still in North Dakota, but away from Sparrows. One other family of birds we were trying to photograph was Grebes. There are a number of different ones commonly seen that are nesting in this area. This is one of them-Horned Grebe. This was the only one we saw and unfortunately he was in a pothole pond that did not allow low angle shooting, so this is the best I could do. Still he is a striking bird. Processed in PS with OOF reed cloned out. About 50% cropped.
