Black Phoebe
A black Phoebe on the lookout – My favorite bird to photograph when I can’t find any thing else and also cos it allows me to carry out my photo experiments – Quite a common bird in my area (northern California) – A very busy bird, and I have noticed, its not as skittish as the others. So I just wait for it to perch and I try out various angles, and combinations of my speeds, isos, exposures and apertures .. someday I am gonna get the perfect combo 🙂

I like the composition with the Phoebe. The reeds surrounding it put it in a little frame and the marsh in the background give it some perspective. Well done!
Thank you, and yes, I wanted the reeds to frame the bird .. had to walk around a bit for the frame to be in place 🙂
