This small little starling has pale eyes and blue based yellow bill. The adult has a greyish head with spiky feathers around its crown, sides of the neck and throat. The upper parts are darker grey with black wings. The nest is built on a wood peckers hole nesting mainly from march to june. They fly in flocks.
