White-eyed Vireo
Many years ago, three of us birded Stu Visser Trails in Ottawa County, MI almost every weekend for a few years as well as some evenings. On May 7, 2007 we rounded a curve on the trail that heads north and were very surprised to see this White-eyed Vireo attempting to become inconspicuous in the surrounding habitat. This was an Ottawa County lifer for us. [Lifer – first time seen in the county].
