We were at Holland State Park watching for birds. The strong easterly wind blows the small migrants out over Lake Michigan during overnight migration. In the morning various species are seen flying in. On April 28, 2022, we spotted this Yellow-rumped Warbler in breeding plumage on the rocks. The birds are out the break wall a short time resting and then head inland.
