We were at Zeeland High School Wetland on April 29, 2023. This eBird Hotspot has a trail around a small marshland and a small pond. This male Northern Cardinal for whatever reason flew in and landed on the branches across the marshland. This photo shows all of its feathers at he is ready to land. Some of the wing feathers look almost translucent.
