In the spring it is a real treat to see a Blackpoll Warbler. This one was spotted as it foraged above the trail at Ottawa Sands County Park. The black and white markings are so striking. The markings that are even more impressive are its orangish feet. In the fall this species because one of the harder to identify bird but it always has orangish feet.
