Sometimes when I am reviewing and culling my images at home, I come across something that I had no idea I had photographed. This is an example. This is a Bobolink that I photographed (many of them) in North Dakota. These birds will often return to the same perch multiple times after forays into the grasslands. I was set up and waiting for this bird to return; it cooperated many times. When I looked at this set of images, I see that he had a bonus on this return. While he was sitting there some type of midge flew by; mistake by the midge. Mr Bobolink got a free breakfast treat.
